Customer Assistant

About the Role

Our Customer Assistants get stuck in with a variety of in-store tasks, from serving customers, filling our shelves, picking online orders and lots more. We’re looking for people who have a can-do attitude and will demonstrate great attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. 

Job Requirements

Aged 18 or over due to the sale of alcohol and tobacco sales and hours of work 

Unrestricted right to work in the UK 

Able to work hours listed on job advert

What we’re looking for in the ideal candidate: 

A great personality with the ability to build relationships with customers 

Ability to roll your sleeves up and assist with all in-store activities 

Demonstrate great attention to detail 

Good communicator & listener 

A can-do attitude 

No experience within retail or customer-service is needed, full training will be provided - you need to demonstrate that you’re aware what amazing customer service is and are able to get stuck in and assist with a range of different in-store activities.

Day to Day Tasks/Duties 

Under the supervision of our Shift Leaders / the Duty Manager, you will be trained and work within the following areas of our store: 

Pick - picking online orders for customers

Serve - serving customers on our tills, providing amazing customer service

Fill - filling our shelves with our quality products

Cleaning - some general in-store housekeeping and cleaning 

Bakery - you might be working in our in-store bakery (full training provided) 

Deliveries - you may also be expected to take in deliveries, as and when required
